ABOUT US
Emory University is proud to be an active research institution in the HBCD Study, serving the Atlanta area. At the Emory Brain Health Center, Dr. Julie Kable and Dr. Claire Coles are esteemed leaders in the field of prenatal exposures and longitudinal child development research, each heading their respective programs - the Emory Neurodevelopmental Exposure Clinic and the Maternal Substance Abuse and Child Development Program (MSACD). With over three decades of expertise, our team provides well-informed experiences for our families, fostering positive relationships within the community. Our dedicated staff goes above and beyond to leave a meaningful impact on our participants through initiatives such as obtaining Child Passenger Safety certifications and securing a donation of 200 car seats from the local YMCA. We are committed to maintaining a warm, considerate approach to research and deeply appreciate every family that chooses to join our site!
