ABOUT US

The HBCD team at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is excited to be part of this ground-breaking study. Led by Dr. Sara DeMauro and Dr. Hao Huang, our team has many years of experience caring for babies and learning about brain development. Our team highly values community representation and making sure our families feel supported and safe. We hope this project and its findings will be able to give back to our community and to the families who share their lives and times with us.

We are happy to share that all our study activities will occur on the Main Campus of CHOP. This allows us to utilize the many resources that CHOP has to offer, helping to make sure study visits are comfortable and safe for our participants. We’re excited to connect with babies and their families throughout the study!
