ABOUT US

At Boston Children’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School, our HBCD team is proud to welcome families to this nationwide study of early brain and child development. Led by Drs. Michelle Bosquet Enlow and P. Ellen Grant, experts in fetal and child development and maternal mental health, our team brings extensive experience in family-centered research and advanced imaging, including MRI and EEG, to every visit.

We partner with local hospitals and community centers to support outreach and make study participation accessible. BCH is a Spanish-recruiting site with dedicated Spanish-speaking staff who ensure families receive an equitable and accessible study experience. We also offer Curly Hair Specialist services to support participants during the EEG process and help ensure comfort and inclusivity for all hair types. The visits take place in a spacious, family-friendly research space, with thoughtful attention to comfort and convenience for you and your child. In addition, families have access to essential resources such as diapers, skincare, dental, and menstrual products. Our Study Navigator provides personalized follow-up emails with tailored community resources based on each participant’s expressed interests and needs.
