ACERCA DE NOSOTROS<\/h2>\n

\u00a1El equipo del Estudio sobre el Cerebro Sano y el Desarrollo Infantil (HEALthy Brain and Child Development<\/em>, HBCD) en Penn State College of Medicine en Hershey, PA, se siente entusiasmado por la oportunidad de aprender y crecer con las familias de PA del centro y sur, y sus hijos! Liderado por la Dra. Aleksandra Zgierska, nuestro equipo multidisciplinario aporta m\u00e1s de 20\u00a0a\u00f1os de experiencia en medicina familiar y comunitaria, obstetricia, neonatolog\u00eda, neuroimagenolog\u00eda, pediatr\u00eda, desarrollo infantil y psicolog\u00eda. Somos un equipo coordinado de m\u00e9dicos, miembros del personal de investigaci\u00f3n y orientadores del estudio que gu\u00edan a las familias en las actividades de investigaci\u00f3n del HBCD y apoyan el amplio acceso a recursos comunitarios.<\/p>\n

Valoramos trabajar con personas de diversos or\u00edgenes y respetamos las dificultades a las que se enfrentan las personas, como la depresi\u00f3n, la ansiedad, el trastorno de estr\u00e9s postraum\u00e1tico (TEPT), el estigma, el trauma o el consumo de sustancias. Cada persona tiene una perspectiva \u00fanica que enriquece las vidas de los dem\u00e1s durante generaciones. Consideramos que los participantes de la investigaci\u00f3n son nuestros socios en este camino y buscamos conocer sus opiniones y las de los miembros de la comunidad para apoyar mejor a los participantes del estudio, promover la resiliencia y fortalecer a las comunidades que atendemos.
