ACERCA DE NOSOTROS<\/h2>\n

New York University (NYU) Langone Health es una de las 27\u00a0instituciones del pa\u00eds que trabaja con esmero para reclutar familias para que participen en el Estudio sobre el Cerebro Sano y el Desarrollo Infantil (HEALthy Brain and Child Development<\/em>, HBCD). Liderado por los Dres. Moriah Thomason, Obianuju Berry y Lauren Shuffrey, nuestro equipo de investigaci\u00f3n estudi\u00f3 con dedicaci\u00f3n el desarrollo del cerebro de beb\u00e9s y ni\u00f1os utilizando m\u00e9todos de investigaci\u00f3n multimodales, como resonancias magn\u00e9ticas (MRI), electroencefalogramas (EEG), cuestionarios y obtenci\u00f3n de muestras biol\u00f3gicas, durante m\u00e1s de 10\u00a0a\u00f1os en instituciones de todo el pa\u00eds. A trav\u00e9s de nuestro compromiso trabajando en este campo, hemos desarrollado experiencias positivas y reconfortantes para nuestras familias participantes y las comunidades que nos rodean. Las familias inscritas en el estudio completar\u00e1n evaluaciones en varias instalaciones de primer nivel, incluido nuestro Laboratorio de Neurociencia Afectiva, Social y Cognitiva (Social Cognitive Affective Neuroscience Lab<\/em>), el nuevo centro de exploraciones de NYU en E. 53rd St, y otras instalaciones de salud en el \u00e1rea triestatal.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Priorizamos a las familias en todas las visitas del estudio. Esto significa que tenemos salas de espera y de entrevistas aptas para las familias, con muebles, juguetes y libros para los ni\u00f1os. Con \u00e9nfasis en la investigaci\u00f3n participativa basada en la comunidad, hemos establecido alianzas con muchas organizaciones acad\u00e9micas y comunitarias, como el Programa de Hogar M\u00e9dico-Materno (Maternal Medical Home Program) de Health & Hospitals y Odyssey House, para reclutar una muestra diversa de participantes. Ofrecemos a todas las familias acceso al ropero comunitario y referencias a los recursos que necesiten, \u00a1porque nuestra investigaci\u00f3n no ser\u00eda posible sin ellas!
